    Hpm 82

Hi! will the HPM-82 earphones actually sound any better than the HPM-70 and 80 or do they just have the fancy remote?

That's what I thought. Same headphone, just with a remote now. Kinda wish they made a white one though.

Right now it's not yet available. But when it does (supposedly at the end of August) it's around $40USD.

it will come with an adaptor to put your own headphones in. it's basically like the HPM-70 except they added a remote

No screen. Basically it'll be a 4 direction d-pad where the left and right direction are for track searches and the up and down direction controls volume. The center will play/pause tracks.

I'm hoping it is, not that the HPM-70 was bad, but it would be nice to get an aural upgrade as well as an aesthetic one.

What SE says about the HPM-70:

Two slender and comfortable in-ear earpieces make sure you hear your favourite songs in stereo with excellent bass.
    # In-ear earpieces for crisp sound
    # Stereo sound for good audio

    And the HPM-82:

Deep bass with light in-ear design and remote control
Listening to your favorite music is only fun if the sound quality is optimal. With its stylish and practical in-ear design, the Walkman®-branded HPM-82 makes sure that you can enjoy your favorite phone-based music with clear sound quality. Choose the right size silicone ear bud from those provided to produce a deep bass punch. The 3.5 mm plug allows you to switch between different earphones if you want. Leave the phone in your pocket while you use the stylish glossy black remote control to handle calls, direct your play list; play and pause, choose the next or previous song and adjust the volume.

    * Outstanding stereo sound - the discreet in-ear design helps channel excellent sound quality for both voice and music
