    I have a placeholder Telus acct that I can't get out of - the money was better spent on my e61. Telus spams me from time to time and today's gave me a chuckle:

    Somebody should tell Telus that these are bare minimums for service.

    I still can't make calls with my LG 125 from parts of town (inc. my home). Maybe I can use the offer to get credits enough to zap my contract.

    at least they're doing something about it. No other company will credit you back for dropped calls. You'll note that if you drop a call, and call your friend right back, you get that minute for free. thats pretty good.

    the future is desperate for rogers mon ami...
    i've been able to defend rogers to it's customers that call and complain for the last 3 years however since may rogers has made some decisions that's really giving the shaft to it's customers

    atleast telus is making certain promises...
    i dont see what rogers is thinking lately...

    but things could be worst....it could be fido...hehe

    How is TELUS desperate? It's a marketing campaign that I think more providers should do.. By giving their customers the minute back for the dropped call. The promise is "If we drop more than 1% of your calls." Think of that, 10 out of 1000 calls. That's a pretty good promise..

    5 Minute wait-time for customer service.
    Let's see Rogers do that.

    Rogers is good and all, but I just don't see the TELUS forum here bashing Rogers./

    That's good service from Telus.

    I have no issues giving credit where it's due.

    The downside is that your customer service is probably going to be from someone in India since I heard Telus outsources there.

    Not saying there's anything wrong with India but at least Rogers can pride itself on being Canadian

    good move by telus as of late i have not been so happy with rogers...

    actually openned two new centers in montreal and expanding another i heard...

    and while rogers outsource within canada, it's not to canadian companies...
