There may not ever be a extened battery but you can get 900mah which is just alittle better than the 750 OEM

another option you have is to swap the phone into an i560 housing and then get an extended battery door for that

Extended Battery Cover for the i-450

I have searched all over for it. I don't think that Motorola designed such an item. Because it is not a Nextel phone, but rather a Boost mobile phone and they probably figured that most Boost phone users would not be interested in a larger battery since they pay fo their airtime by the minute and have to budget their time.

My solution, which I use personally, is to carry either an extra or two extra charged SNN5705C batteries each in a separate "zip loc" baggie in case I run out of power while out in the world! Opening the back cover requires no tools except your fingers and it takes less than a minute to accomplish a battery change!

I have the larger batteries NNTN4655B but I use them in my Nextel I-710 for which there is an extended battery cover available!
