    PC mobile internet

I was thinking of getting a PC mobile to visit primarily 3 website.

Can someone who has one please check if they are available.

    1) I would like www.ebay.ca, to view completed listings, iknow ebay does have a wap site but I am not sure if you can get completed listing, can some please veriify ?

    2) I would like to access www.tdwaterhouse.ca, and use webroker via WAP

    3) shaw.ca to access my web mail ?

Is the wap websites the same websites as the desktop versions, this wap is very confusing ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

    No one has replied yet?

I'll post URLS but anyone with a PC Mobile or Bell phone could try them out.

Call Shaw and ask for the URL for a webpage which is formatted to work on cellphones.

WAP websites are formatted to fit on the small screen of a cellphone. They are often small in size so they download quickly onto the phone. Some cellphones can load regular (non wap) websites, however the functionality of the site will depend on the phone itself.

I am new to the P C mobile service, but have to admit, the unlimited internet service for Five bucks a month is alone good enough to keep me using this service. The nokia 2855i gives quick access to msn yahoo aim im's as well as having quick access shortcuts to hotmail. ymail. earthlink. and others. Axways i like the service. The internet access is top notch.

They have it well hidden, it is on their site though (can't find it right now, was there about 10 minutes ago) but you can also find out by emailing customer service.

Ebay has good wap services. palm.tdwaterhouse.com worked but but not .ca. For shaw, there is https://webmail.shaw.ca/ but I don't know if that would work too well with wap. What you could do is get a gmail account which would allow POP access to your shaw account, and then use gmail's awesome wap service to retrieve emails when you are mobile.

What uses are there for the unlimited WAP?

    MSN Mobile? Gmail Mobile?

Just wonderin' since the MSN Mobile site isn't even working on my computer right now. I'd switch over to PC if it meant I could be on MSN all the time and not have the hassle of the SMS system.

I emailed them about that and after a long wait I got a response - basically it PROBABLY won't work. They said you would probably get an error if you tried to download something from a non-trusted site. If you can download it then it would work however.
