    Just Got New Samsung E870!!

I am loving the phone !!
I have used D500 D600 and got sick and tired of sliding phones and just got me hooked with this stylish flip phone!
    1.3 pixel mp3 TF memory(comes with 128MB) bluetooth
It's not the best feature, but I wasn't taking pix with my D600 anyway...
    But here is the problem...
I am having so much problem with connecting the phone with my Car(2004 Acura TL). I was able to pair up the phone, but if gets disconnected right away and I am not able to dial out since the car does not recognizes the phone even though the phone says both of them are connected...I get the signal bar for about 5 sec then it goes off and it is disconnected right away...
    I have used motorola V600 V3 SE t610 S700i samsung D500 D600 and I had no problem whatsoever...
Can anyone help me with this issue? I really hate to return this phone...
Please help me out here guys...

Oh right that one, it's out for sale already?

Azkicker: where did you purchase yours, and no sorry i don't know the answer to your in car bluetooth problem.

Are there external stereo speakers on the E870 like there are on the D600, or does the ringtone/mp3 audio come from the earpiece speaker? Mean when the phone is in closed position, is the sound all muffled?

Edkwon, I live in s. cali and I got mine from one of the whole saler in Glendale. There is no external dual speakers like d600. The speaker is located like V3 on the bottom of inner flip. But The sound is crispy clear. My last phone was D600 and I can't hear that much of difference with my ear. LOL The phone is great, except the problem I am having...If you want I can tell u more detail information. PM me.

Azkikr, the reason is probably the BlueTooth version. I am no expert, but the profiles are probably not compaitble. There Bt 1.0 1.1 and 2.0 not only this but they all have different profiles, you're phone and car need to have compatible profiles.

    Azkikr,

How are you uploading songs to your t-flash card? PC Studio doesn't allow for it and I'm currently having to upload using my D820 as a mass storage device... the e870 doesn't have this function!...

171631, just use pc studio to cut your mp3 to your own ringtone then use memory reader to upload your song~ Just make sure you drop mp3 into music instead of sound.
That should take care of it. ^^

Chonky Green, there are no metal parts except the two round upper corners of the phone where the phone folds. You can also put cell phone acc. through that metal part since there is a place for it on the right side of that metal.

Is the USB cable/charger plug the same as the D600?

I just got off the phone with Acura dealers and Acura Bluetooth tech dept...
Dealers didn't know crap..-_- they asked if my bluetooth power was on if it was paired up ... The tech said it's just not a compatible model....man ...
    they suck...
I guess I am just screwed with this cell phone...can't return it since it's unlocked and I have used for couple days...
