My apologies if this has been posted before but I can't get BitPim to detect my Telus RAZR

Here is the exception log. I have read all that I can find and verified everything and it's not detecting. I might add that the MPT works fine with the phone and there's no hardware conflicts in Device Manager as far as I am concerned

Thank you very much if somebody could please shed some light on this.

    BitPim version: 0.9.10-official
    An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

Are you selecting "Other CDMA" as your device?
But on the plus side, I knocked over the SunSphere.

Never got that chance abby. I would hook up the RAZR to my USB port (try different ones too) and start up BitPim and as soon as I click on Detect Phone button at the top or try to expand the *FileSystem* then i got those exception logs

I am now looking at creating the ringtones via Moto Phone Tools v 4.0, so far not going anywhere with that yet

I used to get funny error reports too if I was using a different USB port than the original one I set it up on MPT. I don't even tell it to detect my phone. On the inital setup, it just asked what type of device, so I selected other CDMA.

Also make sure MPT isn't running in the background while Bitpim is open.

Grr I'm having problems. I successfully managed to put ringtones on my Chocolate but I'm having problems with my brothers Razr V3C.

Can someone help? I think I'm definitely doing something wrong lol.

I just bought a V3c used from a dude in Toronto, and I'll be trying all this good stuff later in the week. I just want to know, should I be looking for a firmware update? Can you direct me to the appropriate page that shows the latest firmware update for the Telus V3c?

Nice! I see that you're running Vista in the background. (*COugh...Ahemmmm...Vista-Enterprise Edition..COugh...AHemmmm...)

Anyhoo...going back to your question, from your *VISTA* screenshot, the phone on the bottom right is not a Moto Razr V3C. What you have to do is go to live update from the phone icon and right click. Follow the steps until you have the latest version of Moto Phone Tools.

Is Motora Phone Tools Vista compliant? Anytime you upgrade your operating system, not all software which used to work flawlessly on XP will be smooth on Vista.

you could also get rid of the shutter sound by replacing the shutter wav file with one that has no sound; attached a zip file the muted wav file

i replaced shutter3.wav and it makes no sound when i take a picture
any idea how to get rid of the "low battery" blip sound, or where it can be found it the directory in BitPim?
