My 360 updated, here comes the plexi and neons....

Well not really neons but cold cathodes. This took me a while to finish as I had to remove the 4" cold cathodes from their protective tubes so they would fit. The pictures only show 1 lit because I broke the second one that lit up the dvd drive side and am too lazy to replace it now. I kept the "Xbox 360" logo present in the middle and designed it so I would retain the functionality of the middle case screw. Anyways, here are the pictures.....

I replaced all the "yellow-green" led's on the 360's "ring of light" along with the power button with actual green led's, I also did the same for the controller. You cant really tell a difference in the pictures of the green led's from what the yellow-green ones looked like but in person it is a huge difference. Also, please note that my camera makes it seem like all the other "controller identifying" led's are lit when they are not at all.

The one thing I will do different on my next 360 is change the window spot on the dvd drive. I didnt realize that it was going to be that covered up with it being in the front of the drive. I'll be moving the window to the back half of the disc ring. I'm also thinking about molding in a 7" screen on the other side of the 360. That way should you ever be without a tv you can just play your 360 from your 360 Thats not really the reason, I just think it would look cool and different.

Oh thats the original one. The same case that came off the 360 I got from Circuit City where I paid $70 for the extended warranty. Atleast I waited a week before I voided the warranty opening it up and painting it.

I do all my mods myself. I actually wasnt really planning on doing plexi and all that nonsense but I ran across all my old led's from back when I was doing Nextel phones and I decided to throw them on my 360 and controller. One thing led to another from there and as you can see it kinda snowballed into going all out.

I appreciate all the compliments everyone. I'll post more pictures in a week or two when I get bored with the green and decide to change it up. I'm thinking red might be my next color for lighting.
