    voicemail outgoing message...

I found a few websites with custom voicemail outgoing messages. How do thsoe work? How do I replace the default outgoing message with one of these? Thanks.
I can't complain but sometimes I still do...

    Example:
"I can't answer the phone right now, please leave a message after the beep"

Maybe Nextel doesnt even have custom messages. I'm still on Verizon for a few months and don't know much about how Nextel does things yet. I just saw these wav files on a site and was curious how to change the voicemail default to them. I know with Verizon, we can record our own or use the defaut. Not sure about the ones on the internet.

    Talking Hmm

MMMM I would think if you wanted to record one of these as your Voicemail message, just play it on your computer speaker and place the phone by the speaker when you select the "Record new message" option. Its an idea and im not sure how else you would do it

ya thats what I did with my voicemail cept i used headphones instead(worked beter then speakers) to get my message I recorded on my computer onto my phone. Did the regular voicemail after the beep thing with a mic on my comp then added aqua teen quotes in the wav file after me saying the message. So after my message is played it says "Tonight I am download pr0n at 14kilobits per second" - Carl
