Wanted to know if your T39m LOCKED or not? But don't have another SIM to test?

metaCOREtex talked me press "<**<" and if all your PAD LOCK are open you in luck! Your phone is UNLOCKED!

The first thing I did when I got my T39m (well, after inserting the SIM, charging, etc) was to use this code to check... and to use *#06# to check it the IMEI displayed matches the one on the sticker... but don't count on matching the IMEI # with that on the sticker of the box... they usually don't...

T39m/mc, R520m/mc, and T68 are using the same code.

    hm...

maybe i do need a SIM to be able to access the locking status on my phone. right now i don't have a SIM yet. i turn on my phone and it prompts me to "Insert SIM". i can't do anything else but make an "SOS call only" or access the firmware on the phone. *sigh*, i'll probably head on over to furtureshop to buy a prepaid fido SIM just to check out what my 3days old baby R520m can do!

    R520

On my R520 I used to enter >*<<*<* to get into that menu. This doesn't work in T39 though... never knew about the otehr code.
