Hey guys, I might be wrong, but it looks like the Nov and Jan ROM are identical.

I am glad to hear that it works. I guess the Feb is the important one to have.

Wink Let the Good Times Roll!!!

    Lemebee,

Is the Feb 8 ROM worth updating to? Like I said the Jan 10 ROM is very stable for me. I would like to have Media Player 10. Am I able to revert back to a previous ROM if I don't like the Feb 8?

Also, is it complicated to update the ROM?

It's funny I was the one with the ROMs, but I have no clue to to update the ROM...lol...

    Let me know...

BTW what is this I hear about two of the ROMs being the same...was that my mistake?

I also noticed that after I applied the Jan Rom, my ROM date still showed November so it looks like somewhere some files may have been crossed.

No worries though as I went ahead and installed the Feb ROM. So far I was able to update the GSM and OS portions but was not able to update the Bootloader portion.

The technique I used was simply to place the files on an SD card (one folder at a time), hold the shift key down and soft reset. The update then happens by itself.

Hopefully some can let me know if they are able to successfully get the Bootloader loaded.

One more thing, just follow the PDF instructions for the updates. It's really quite simple to do and worked out quite well

Can anyone walk me through the settings for GPRS for Cingular....

I really slow and step-by-step walk would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand, were you not able to update to the feb rom all the way. Should I not update to this rom. Explain to me the problem. Thanks

Oh P.S. did anyones camera get better with the upgrade, cuz mine in the nov 28 is almost unusable

    I took the Plung!!!

I went ahead and upgraded to the Feb 8 ROM and I like it. I especially like the Media Player 10. I haven't messed much with the rest of it so I don't know what other improvements there might be. It was simple to upgrade...like you guys mentioned...just follow the PDF file...

Even though I have a Production MPx, by updating to the feb 8th rom will it make my screen read "test version not for sale", upon reset.

That's a very good question. Can someone who has done this confirm? Also were you able to update all 3 parts using the SD method? OS, GSM & Bootloader?

Many, many thanks to Lembee and OnImpulse, great work guys!
