    Free aps/games for s60 devices

Well a lot of ppl make threads asking about free applications/games etc for the s60 device.
I am making this thread in the hopes that it could be made a sticky and all the free aps/games etc that the users find can be posted here in one thread. And a request to mods to not allow any irrelevant post in the thread to make it concise and precise.

I will start off with some applications. I did not find all these by myself, and some have been posted before at HoFo by other members. I have just sorted them and put them together in one thread. Full credit goes to the users who found these programs. Feel free to add more aps.

Bravo. This has needed doing for a while.

Any way we could organize the list into categories, like utilities, application, games, etc?
May I also suggest adding the following to the games section:

Spruce Technologies Free Midlets - Chess, Paint, Go, Checkers, Tetris, etc. Small, but free.

I remember that thread. The bad thing was a lot of the apps listed didn't have links to them, so you had to search. I couldn't find about half of them.

    Trekker - Nice job!

This should be a sticky forever!

    SymbianOS.org
An open source depot for Symbian software. Most of the software can be found at AAS, but there are a few extra pieces here.

    NewLC's Open Source Competition
NewLC (a website aimed at SymbianOS developers) are currently running a competition for open source software written for SymbianOS. The 11 finalists can be found at this location, including links to where you can download the software for free.

    Agile Messenger
This is a great piece of software for instant messaging on your mobile. The software works with all the main networks (MSN, ICQ, AOL and Yahoo!) and is totally free. It's available for both Series 60 and UIQ.

    Midlet.org
Lots of crappy Java applications but at least they're free.

    Nokia Multimedia convertor
This is a handy little program for converting WAVs/MP3s to truetones. This is from Nokia's Developer Forum so you need to register before downloading the software. There are probably some other good programs in the developer forum too though.

    Control Freak
Like Bemused, this piece of freeware can be used to control WinAmp on your PC via bluetooth. There's also a paid-for Pro version with additional features.
