I vote to make this sticky. My $.02. i860 is tight, even though the i730 is burning a hole in my pocket and I want the i830.

I have a few friends that work for Nextel and they have both heard about a late november early december release date for the i930 but haven't heard anything on the i860. i've searched on here and have found conflicting dates from august - october. kinda want to know if i should buy a 830 to tide myself or till october or sweat out 2 months

HMMM...MAY sway me to go BACK to NEXTEL!

The i860 almost looks like an MPx200! Now, does it run on Moto software or Windows' Smartphone 2003 platform? Last time I checked, I don't think it does...I just wanted to make sure. One more thing, does it have expandable memory? If not, then does the i930? It's 2004...Nextel NEEDs more feature-rich phones! They're getting pretty close...but they're still pretty behind...

Only the 930 is slated to have an SD slot. The 860 just has onbard memory. Someone should start an i860 site 'cause this phone is gonna be freakin sweet to customize.
