Fido is a pain in the butt when it comes to credit check.... if you don't have any credit histories then it's unlikely that you'll be able to get an account.... I think your best bet right now would be to obtain one of your parents' social insurance card numbers and credit card number and get an account activated with his/her name and list yourself as co-user.....

    Go to another Fido.

Try to go to another Fido retailer to see if they can open an account for you.

Why don't you have them set up pre-authorized payment on your credit card...

As long as they get an authoriztion # from the credit card company, the card could be in your dog's name...they still get paid regardless!!

That should work...I've seen people in similar situations, and the pre-authorized payment did the trick

Activate over the phone. how can they see your drivers licence from home?
Made to measure is specially designed for people who do not have a SIN,
bad credit, bankqurpt or on a deposit status after a credit check was
done. The customer does not need to pay any deposit but they will only
get the minutes package they wanted (Example : $20 for 200 minutes or
the back to work deal). The major difference between a credit approved
monthly plan and made to measure is that for made to measure,if your
daytime minutes runs up to the limit, they will send you a text message
stating that you do not have anymore daytime minutes or else they would
disconnect you or suspend your line. For monthly plan, they would let
you use overtime but charge onto your bill. However, made to measure
plan also receive a bill but you have to pay ur bill on time, 1 days
late, they would disconnect you (no chance of react the line again).

Does it help if your dog's name is Fido?

    Fido Made to Measure

The only requirements I recived from Fido CS is that the person hase to be 18 or older, HAS to have a SIN, and not owe any money to Fido. Other than that they don't care.

The plans are the same but your phone is restricted once you go over your monthly limit of minutes (ie 200 in $20 plan) until you make your paymet and then you can continue using it.

Also it doesn't make a difference to them if you have a credit card or not. There was one guy though that they didn't even want to take on made to mesure. The CS just told me that they couldn't take him on the plan and she said the guy has to call Equifax (the credit history company) He didn't owe any money to Fido (I asked) but they still didn't want to put the guy on the plan...

i asked about that, and they said i must be 19. Now can i activate this made to measure BS over the phone? and will it work with the $45 300min EW VM CD CW? cause if i can do it over the phone, then there is absolutely no problem. but if not, then they are gonna reject me cause of my age.

Not everyone has a computer. but if you do then activate online. Also activating by phone is also ok. And you said that they found out you were 18 by you showing your drivers license? I have never heard that before. Just tell them you do not drive.
