Seems connection to google voice goes stale every now and then, similar to the write up in this post,
https://www.reddit.com/r/OBihai/comm...n_with_google/
"The number you have dialed XXX has not received a response from your service provider." Of course, under status, the obi indicates it's still connected.
Either waiting some time or a forced reboot usually fixes.
Have other experienced this? How did you fix?
Internet service here is fiber and is very reliable. These outage seem to occur midday for now apparent reason. Inbound of course still works as the obi connection is with callcentric and not google voice.
For now i've implemented a daily reboot via cronjob on the pbx.

Just another day in paradise.....
I doubt I'll get much support from either. Device running the better, third party firmware.
I haven't noticed this issue, but I also don't make a lot of outgoing calls.
I'll make some test calls to a Time/Temp phone # to test when I get home.
My OBi200 is running the standard firmware.
It's hard to determine a pattern to this as it doesn't happen often, or under any particular circumstances. Periodically a household member wil tell me they can't place outbound calls. I'm im around i'll reboot the obi, if not, it usually comes back working some period of time later.
I occasionally have the same issue. I just reboot the OBI by removing power for a minute. Doing a auto reboot every night sounds like a good idea.

I had a similar occurrence after a power outage a while back, and even though I had restarted both my cable modem and router, it needed another router restart for the Obi to find its way and get a solid packet stream out to the internet.
^^Obi's DHCP function leaves much to be desired. I ended up just setting the IP statically in the webui. In your case, my guess is the obi booted up much faster than than your router/modem and was confused what to do when it got no connectivity.
