Debating whether to finally give up unlimited data (REAL unlimited)

I have an old corp plan with the real unlimited data. No throttling or anything and I’m seriously debating finally giving it up. Thanks to Covid I am a full time work from home employee but recently have taken a new job that does include travelling. So I will be out and about once I get used to the role.

I’m looking at that new US/Canada 150gb plan. Basically the same price and I’m honestly tired of not being able to use my Apple Watch(with the network) since bell won’t allow shareable data on these plans.

    Pros
    Can use Apple Watch plan
No longer need to pay full price for my phone. I’m an iPhone pro max 512gb so this current phone cost me 2100$ with tax I believe.
Slightly cheaper only like $10-$15 cheaper
Would now have unlimited us calling

    Cons
Letting go of true unlimited data. Years ago I used to watch March madness at work on my phone and would hit 50gb to 60gb maybe more and never had an issue and was never throttled.

What yall think? I’d gladly transfer it to someone but I know they told me years ago it’s no longer transferable. They want these plans gone

I would say that it is time to give up the plan, maybe someone on here could purchase it. Data buckets in Canada have only been getting larger and not smaller (but who knows with our telco's right?).

Bell now has more spectrum than ever, and shares it's deployment with Telus who owns licenses in a given region. Bell / Telus customers can use the same towers and frequencies (for the most part) across Canada.

    - 600 Mhz
    - 700 Mhz
    - 850 Mhz
    - 1900 Mhz
    - 2100 Mhz
    - 2600 Mhz
    - 3500 Mhz

150 GB is good, along with Can / US Calling / Data. I'm really surprised more of our plans are not like this, considering you can get a $8 plan from Mexico that includes US and Canada roaming, even prepaid right from your bucket without any difference in price.

Ours the reverse direction is incredibly expensive... Such a shame to be in Canada these days.

Me too, but the reality is until USA opens up to more visas for Canadians long term its going to be a problem...

To combat China, the US could open its doors to Canadians who have earned more than $130K in the past 3 years, have a degree, etc.
