Never forget that the batteries rarely die at the same time and it is possible for a battery to hold its charge longer than expected. I have pulled out phones that were unused for over 1 year who still have a charge of 50% or more.

Until ATT eliminated 3G in February I used a G5 and a G7 Fit. I bought new phones and stuck them in a drawer.
I now need to use one as just a GPS.
The G7 is dead. Plugging in a charger does nothing and pushing all the buttons does nothing. Is there anyway to get it going again?
The LG5 is good... it is too good. After sitting in a drawer for 3 months it claims the battery is 100% full. Is that even possible?
I can use the G5, but the G7 is a much better GPS and I would like to get that going. Thanks.

Just another day in paradise.....
I tried to do a hard reset, but it failed. BUT the phone turned on!
Sad to say, my wife no longer remembers her PIN.
I tried to do a hard reset by turning the phone off, and holding in the volume down and power button, but the phone just turns on. I then tried with the volume up and power button, but the phone just turns on.
How do I hard reset a G7 FIT?
A bit off topic but I have moved on from an LG Escape 3 (K373) but keep both it an a Nokia 1100 charged and in different rooms for the flashlight in them. There isn't much room close to my toaster oven which makes the very old Nokia's very small size more helpful to see settings on my toaster oven as I enter them.
It's not just you. I have a pathetic old Samsung ON5 in the bathroom just to time brushing my teeth. It is in Airplane mode so a battery charge lasts for weeks.
I have several old, otherwise retired phones without cell service around the house that I use like micro tablets for TV guide, weather, etc. on Wifi. I used one yesterday for GPS navigation with an offline downloaded map.
