What are folks doing with the A03s? I got one with reward points and have yet to take it out of the box. I know that donate it an option but I would selfishly like to get something for it. I saw this thread and was hoping it might have some trade in value.

I haven't seen any good trade-in values. I just looked at the ebay auctions and found a couple of unlocked A03s with current bids of $49 and $56. I might try to sell my unlocked A03s on there soon.

While researching I thought about a pixel 6a or pixel 7 but no sd card slot is a deal breaker.
I'm still debating on the A54. I guess to get a better deal I have to wait for the price to drop or find a deal where you have to jump through hoops and wait x-amount of time to unlock a phone. Since service is limited here that complicates matters.

Yesterday I discovered the Trade-In Deal that Samsung.com offered and I almost did it, but wasn't sure if they took the Tracfone Version of the Galaxy A51. Mine is unlocked via Tracfone after a couple of months of owning it.
As you said - they will give you $200 for the A51 and then the price of the A54 is Only $249 plus tax and you can pay in 4 installments every other week if you want. This is a Great Deal as far as I can see - Also, on the every other week deal - you don't have to pay up front and it looks like I can pick it up at my local BestBuy store.

I have a bunch of Samsung phones (Five A03s's, Two A51s, one A54, one S22, one S23). I bought the A54 from Metro in May for $50 + $40 (one month of service). The phone will be unlocked 6 months from activation even if you used it with Metro for only one month. Mine will be unlocked in early November. I have other phones to use so I don't need the A54 right away. The Metro A54 deal is still available. It's an option if you can wait 6 months for it to be unlocked.

A side note about the Metro Samsung A54...When I checked the IMEI of mine using AT&T IMEI Checker on 5/18/23, it said the phone was not compatible with AT&T (it has the needed bands but wasn't on AT&T whitelist). However, a few days ago someone on Slickdeals said it is on AT&T whitelist, so I checked again on 9/25/23 and the AT&T IMEI Checker now says it is compatible with AT&T.
This morning, I did a test on TF web site by trying to activate it. After I entered its IMEI as a BYOP phone, TF web site offered to sell me a TF/T-mo SIM to use with it. Same case with my Metro Nokia G400. With my Metro OnePlus N30, TF web site said it's compatible with TF/Verizon.

Nobody really knows until Metro unlocks it. But $40 for a $300 phone is worth the chance for me. In my case an already activated Visible SIM should work. But again until people's phones start unlocking ~5-6 months from now nobody can be certain.

Have you run the IMEI of your Metro Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) through these IMEI Checkers?
* AT&T IMEI Checker . Most of the time it will display the wrong phone image/make/model, but the result of compatible or not is what matters.
* Verizon IMEI Checker
* Visible IMEI Checker
* Cricket IMEI Checker
* T-mobile IMEI Checker . This should pass for sure.

No. And I wouldn't expect it to pass any of these including T-Mobile. It's too new (05/2023) & not a priority for Motorola or the carriers to get on the stick about this. I think it'll be ok for me because I'll use an already activated Visible SIM which should work. I might try my FP (AT&T) & TM SIMs once it's unlocked.

I don't know if you know/care about the OnePlus Nord N30 . It's $20 + $40 (one month of service) from Metro, and mine passed the IMEI Checker at many providers.
