I had hit or miss results with opening a ticket with xpertcare. At one point I was able to get one of them escalated and talked on the phone to a very advanced and knowledgeable level 3 or 4 person, which in my opinion was far better than tracfone support. Once I got there.

Castrol EDGE 0W-20 is my drug of choice.

Mobile Broadband: Franklin T10 LTE hotspot (5GB for $8.50) / iPad mini 6 5G (unlimited 5G data)
Is it possible to have more than one line on an account?
Other reviews seem to indicate family plans are not possible and you can't do more than one line per account yet.
I just activated and in my 10 day learning period. From what I can tell all service is prepaid and you have to choose what you pay the next month? So every month I will get a request to pay for the next month, right? No overages, surprise charges and only paying what you choose is one of their big talking points, so that's my understanding. In addition to if you buy data it is supposed to roll over, though I'm seeing conflicting reports if that actually works.
If texting continues to work, it kind of reminds me of Tello -- texting is free basically, you pay for phone, and if you get data only you don't pay taxes, and it rolls over (with Tello you have to renew a day early). I already have a nice data bank saved up on Tello on 1 eSIM, so if it works out that way it will be nice to have another data bank saved up on MobileX on another eSIM and then I can switch to Verizon or TMobile network as needed -- and my physical SIM is still ATT!
i believe data rolls over as long as you do not do the 'fake unlimited' option
Don't know if anyone is arguing with the logic or the legitimacy of your point. It's just a matter of reality. Adderton likes to make a big show of being "pro consumer". But, in fact, he is just coming up with his best guess as the most successful way to get consumers to give him money, just like most every other corporation. For years, carriers have gotten away with shady, confusing advertising, so there is no reason he wouldn't do the same.
It's the same as T-Mobile who has no interest in giving customers a better deal as the "un-carrier" (really, what the hell does that actually mean?), they (mostly Legere inspired) are just working the best angle they can come up with to make money. If they were convinced they could make more money by raising prices, they would do that in a second.
Somehow I was under the impression that unused data gets rolled over if you are on a custom plan. But I guess not as I just started the next billing cycle and data was reset without any rollover of unused data.
The first rollover doesn't happen - perhaps because you don't pay for the first month? I beached on the support thing and they gave me the 1GB that I "lost". I think that next time it should work OK but others say they don't exactly roll it over but just give you a discount on your bill. I'll soon see. We have three lines now but the newer two haven't hit the first pay point yet...
Thanks. I contacted them and they said they discount subsequent bills for unused data, starting with first paid month (which as you suggested explains why I didn't see any adjustment, as I am just coming off the free trial month), so it's not a rollover, but it's practically just as good, and arguably better.
hi, I have some questions
is there wifi calling on amdroid?
can you call through their app? (like textnow)
are incoming calls free?
tnx
not sure about the wifi calling on android. should be same as most Verizon MVNO's
there is no app for calling, this is a regular cellular based MVNO
there are options for either unlimited Talk and Text or smaller buckets that I assume both incoming and outgoing are counted
if you wanted to go data only and use an app for calling on both cellular and wifi i would suggest using either Google Voice or Textnow for the calling and texting
