Thread: Is Anyone Else Seeing 16GB For Their Legacy $300 Plan?

    Is Anyone Else Seeing 16GB For Their Legacy $300 Plan?

    My wife has used the AT&T $300 8GB plan for ~3 years.

    I just checked her account.

    https://www.paygonline.com/websc/rateplans.html currently shows:
    "Your Plan $25 16GB Promo Plan"

    However, it doesn't appear that the 16GB has actually been added to the line. Maybe it will be added the next time her data resets?

    Can someone remind me how to see the data reset day / date at https://www.paygonline.com/? I can't seem to find that. Thanks!

    It sure would be nice if ALL legacy AT&T $300 8GB plan users actually do get the new 16GB!

    The graph showing data usage only shows 8GB, even with the 16 GB plan.

    I just activated Monday & the plan description only showed 8 gb till Tuesday morning. (Now showing 16 GB in plan description) The graph still only shows 8GB & evidently re-starts with bonus data once the 1st 8GB is used up. This is what I gathered from The ATT community site anyway.

    Glad to see the bonus data being extended to existing customers

    I’m seeing it on my account now too! Was about to try PortIn/Out process, since my plan renews last day of December, but looks like I don’t have to now!

    The data reset day can be seen if you go the Menu>Profile & Settings> Account Info and Preferences

    YUP. older legacy AT&T Prepaid 8GB/Mo $300/Annual Plan upgraded to 16GB Mo?

    Looks like it did it today for me also?!
    My monthly renewal is today on my old legacy 8GB/Mo $300 Annual Prepaid plan: it now refers to it as "Your Plan: $25 16GB Promo Plan", and includes my previous months rollover ("includes 6.9 GB Rollover Data") and now has a bar graph showing "22.9 GB of 22.9 GB remaining".

    I think this is a transitory rollover data month, and hope it locks into the 8GB + 8GB plan new customers had been getting, but would be nicer if my 'new' plan is actually 16GB Monthly hi-speed data upgrade for my old legacy plan. Well either way, I hope it sticks, and is not a glitch...

    edit: Additionally, I just received an SMS that says: "Hi, it's AT&T. Your data has renewed and 16GB was aded to your account...

    Interesting…on the AT&T Prepaid website, it doesn’t refer to it as ‘bonus’ 8gb anymore, or for ‘new’ customers only. It just calls it the “AT&T PREPAID 16GB 12-month Plan” for $300/yr. Looks like it’s permanent, and for everyone on the plan!

    That's great!

    Thank you for the guidance! I found it now. Her next data reset date is 1/8/23, so I'll double check then, but hopefully she'll get the 16GB.

    That would be awesome if its permanent. I just got a Boost sim because it was the cheapest way to try ATT network before commiting to a year and so far seems good but I want to test more.

    Does anyone know if rollover will apply to all 16GB or just the 1st 8GB? I am assuming the last 8GB is considered bonus data since it doesn't show up on the graph.

    Correct. Currently it says "$25 Monthly Plan"

    The plan just renewed recently, so maybe that is why?

    Hmmm...that's a mystery. My wife's plan renewed 12/9/22, and while it doesn't yet reflect the actual 16GB of data, since the renewal was before this recent development, https://www.paygonline.com/websc/rateplans.html DOES show:

    "Your Plan $25
    16GB Promo Plan"

    AND

    "Data
    16GB per 30-day term"

    Are you 100% SURE you're looking at https://www.paygonline.com/websc/rateplans.html?

    Yes, that is where I was looking. It does now say:

    Data

    16GB per 30-day term

    But it did not earlier today. Maybe something was cached in my browser?

    I'm glad that it now shows for your line, too! I guess it could have been a cache issue, or perhaps AT&T is making the change in "blocks" of accounts...

    I guess it's now "official".

    https://www.paygonline.com/ for my wife's $300 plan now shows:

    Good News - You now have double data
    Your 12-Month Plan will now have double the data -- 16 GB of high-speed plan data included each month. You don't need to do a thing, your plan's included data will increase automatically at your next monthly plan renewal. Enjoy more games, movies, sports or whatever your passion is -- you deserve it!
