Tech is calling back in 1/2 hour, Apparently testing power levels and using a different tower that will ultimately determine if I need a phone replacement.
I don't have any 4G, 3G or LTE symbol on the iphone. My Nokia flip phone at least has an LTE symbol next to the signal bars.Is that normal for the iphone to not show anything but the signal bars? There is a tiny round orange light above the signal bars. Not sure what that is.

When the line is active and the phone is activated, this is how it looks on the iPhone 11, with wi-fi off, cellular data on, homescreen view:
With wi-fi on, the LTE symbol disappears since phone is using Wi-fi. It shows the wi-fi symbol instead.
Apple recently added battery percentage there in the battery symbol to this phone and I guess other Face ID phones.
Before you had to swipe down for the control center top right or add a widget to view it.
There's a notch you can't see in the screenshot that leaves very little room for anything.

The tech never called back so I called back and another tech performed more troubleshooting and after a while he said he would call back. He never did either! Horrible service. I have no choice but to send this phone back.
I called the number you gave at corp office. The iphone 11. So, I don't know if the phone is defective, the info on the sim card or some weird problem transferring my old number and plan. Try another iphone 11 with a new number and plan? Walmart has a few reviews where people had the same exact problem. ?
there is another number you could try.... maybe explain that you have been trying to get this fixed and reps keep telling you they will call back and no ones does - you have been trying to transfer your line from your flip phone to the iPhone 11 to activate it

I've reset network settings multiple times. I give up. This is just absurd
It took more than 35 calls and twice as many hours on the phone with CS, to get WiFi calling working on the TF/V iPhone SE 2020. Some reps said TF doesn’t have WiFi calling, some said you can’t use iPhones on TF… it was truly maddening, and each time I’d do the HUCA dance. Without this forum, I would have thrown the phone across the room many times.
Eventually, after not changing *anything* I said to them, I got someone who got it done.
Don’t give up! You know it isn’t user error… keep hanging up and calling again until you get someone who deals with it.
The phone is sealed in the box it came in and is going back tomorrow.
Is the Iphone thru tracfone, and did the sim card come with it, do you have another phone to try the sim card in to see if it works.
