    Tracfone reps ALL clueless?

    I've talked to at least 12 agents and none have them have been able to get my iphone to activate. I upgraded from a old flip phone and transferred the same number and plan to the iphone, but it still hasn't activated and all the reps have me go through the same routine of restarting, resetting, *73 etc.,but nothing is getting this to activate. Apple customer service said nothing was wrong with the iphone. I did the diagnostics and itunes thing with them. All passed. Signed in with my Apple ID.
    The problem is on Tracfone's end and so far all the reps are clueless.
    Is it possible the old basic flip phone plan is not compatible with the iphone? Is Tracfone of the devil and their mission is to torment me?

    Yes. Many of them.

    Over how long of a period?

    Does the flip still work? In any case, turn it off. Turn off iPhone for 15 minutes. Then turn on and check.

    You can also call the TF corp office 305 640-2000 x1029 8am-11:45 pm est 7 days better to call earlier.
    Maybe they can help.

    Make sure iOS is up to date.

    3 days, The flip phone is out of minutes and I can't add more time for some reason. Wasted 50 dollars trying to add time, but it won't accept any. BUT, the service end date says 2/1/23. ??
    I can't call. I don't have a working phone.
    ios is of course up to date.

    It wouldn't accept a plan before transfer was initiated?

    The transfer was initiated before I tried adding time. I burned through all the time speaking to customer reps because the phone wouldn't activate adding to the frustration. My flipfone was still working--oddly enough--after the attempted transfer. The iphone shows my transferred number too.
    Maybe the iphone needs a smartphone plan and not the basic plan I tried to transfer??? Tracfone reps are unaware of this though.

    When you called was it to the normal TF support line or TF corp office number?

    TF corp is usually much more helpful and quicker.

    But without a phone...

    Maybe you could put some free wifi based phone app on it and then call TF corp office....

    Or try with chat again.

    3 days is long.

    If no load, disable any and all browser ad blockers. Make sure tracking prevention in brower settings set to basic or standard.

    Try another brower.

    I can't use a wifi calling app because it requires a verification code sent to my phone number.
    Tried two different browsers. ADblock disabled. No chat bubble

    What make/model is the flip phone? What model is the iphone? The flip phone is out of minutes and you can't make calls, so what did you mean that it still works.

    Sometimes taking out sim and putting back in while phone is on can get things working.

    But i've read it can possibly damage phone.. Has never hurt my phones.

    Can you text bal to 611611 from iphone?

    Everything appears to be functioning as normal. Service end date says 2/1/23. I just have 0 minutes and can't add time. It worked fine while using it with TF customer service until the minutes ran out.

    Is this a three bucket flip phone? Does it have minutes, text and data?

    Can you log into the site or my account app to view both lines?

    Maybe it transferred but you have no minutes and no ability to makes calls. You have to add minutes/text/data to iPhone. Maybe.

    Does texing bal or usage to 611611 from iphone return anything?
