Just updated to Android 13, UI 5.0 on my S21 5G phone and my Tab S7+ today. Don't think it is available on older devices and may not be available with all phone carriers. No difficulties updating either device. Just an FYI.
Just another day in paradise.....

My Galaxy Tab A7 Lite just updated to Android 13 earlier this week. Nice to know that happens. I'd assume that will be the end of OS updates for this thing, as I believe it came with A 11, immediately went to 12, and now to 13. When it went to 12 I didn't see much evidence of the "Material You" theming that I've seen on some friend's phones (which I like). The most noticeable thing with this tablet and 13 is this new "Taskbar" feature that puts itself at the bottom of most pages once you move off the Home Screen. Very similar to the Windows Taskbar. Takes up screen real estate at the bottom so I disabled it in Settings->Display. This is my first Samsung device.
Update question: I have a Samsung galaxy A53 5g. I have read that the Android 13 update has been released for this phone. My carrier is Tracfone. The question is are Samsung updates carrier dependent. In other words because I use Tracfone will I never see Android 13? I have checked using both the phone settings and smartswitch app on my computer.
Typically, Android updates are carrier dependent. The carriers want to test it out before releasing it to its users to help prevent issues. Not saying there is an issue. Obviously, some users will manually install such updates and not wait for their carrier to push the update, but "buyer beware". It will come eventually. I have found that most Android updates turn out to be rather minimal and are rarely of vital importance. Security updates usually occur every month or so and are far more important.
