Thanks for the heads up. These updates take FOREVER, but applying it for my Pixel 7 and then opting out of the program.

Ok my Beta Program Pixel 6a got the stable release. Took me to build TQ1A.221205.011 and I opted out of the beta program.
Everything seems fine. No more Beta program message on reboot. Wi-Fi calling still works. Yay.

Is this stable update going to be what phones NOT in the beta program are about to receive this week?
I ask because I have a Pixel 6a/7 that I would like to put on my TracFone line, but didn't want to join the beta.
Seems like it:

Everybody gets it right now I believe. We got it, I don't think because phones are in beta, but because phones are Pixels, and opted to leave the beta program because it is allowed at this moment until the next beta drops I believe on 12/12/22. If you leave at other times, the device is wiped.
I think in June or July 2023 the current beta program is over and you have to rejoin if you were to opt to stay in for future one.
Trying this tonight thanks everyone
If anyone activates a Pixel 6a or 7 after the public update, that had not been on the beta, would you please let us know how it went?
Thanks to everyone for the heads up and for sharing their experiences. I’ll be opting out of the beta too once I install the update.
Following up, after verifying that I was running the December release, and that TF was still working, I unenrolled from the beta program. It was very easy, just like signing up was. I did complete their survey which took a minute or two. So far, so good.
Slightly off topic questions, for those of you who brought a P6a or P7 directly from tracfone:
(#1) Is it still locked to TF or is it unlock --- BOTH in terms of network AND in terms of bootloader (as in: can I root it/flash custom rom)?
(#2) How does warrenty work --- do you have to go throught TF or do you talk to google directly?
Thanks!
Yeah TF doesn't sell a TF branded Pixel phone. (That saveonetracfone site has them)
I got mine direct from the Google store with TF iPhone SE 2020 trade-in and it uses a BYOP TF/Verizon sim for TF service.
Apparently Google is rolling the December update depending on carrier. Whose gonna take a wild guess and bet TracFone will be last. I want it now so I can finally use wifi calling on my Pixel 4a5g.
According to G, it depends on carrier and device.
This forum member got it yesterday when releaseed on his TF/Verizon 6a and 6 pro:
