$300 16gb double data Promotion ending December14th

Per the AT&T Prepaid website, the $300 16gb double data Promotion ends December14th. I haven't noticed an end date previously on the site.

I signed up for the 16gb plan, received a new number, then ported my tmobile number. Now is says 8gb data in the ATT app.

So you ended up with 8GB instead of 16GB? The 16GB plan shows up as 8GB with a second meter with 8GB bonus data. Which phone number did you call to port your number? I’ve read that some people lost the 16GB when calling 611. I called 888-898-7685 to port from T-Mobile and ended up with 16GB without any problem.

I called ATT last night and they said I have 16gb and explained the bonus meter. But the bonus meter is not showing up on my app when I log in.

Yes, they had the ‘until date 12/14’ up for a short while, but it is gone now from the site

So in the fear the deal may be ending , I ordered a sim tonight. I used a prepaid card so I can potentially use refills, Tgt has them on sale until Saturday night. Will the sim still be attached to the 16gb promo as long as I activate within 30 days?

Good news, It looks like all users on the $300/yr plan will be getting the 16GB going forward!

I just put ported a number to the $300 plan yesterday, Dec 20, and the online account data shows 16GB of data.

Yep, looks like its no longer bonus data and 16gb considered the base, which means all can rollover

It's really a very generous change, to an already pretty good plan, especially automatically converting current customer 8GB plans to the new 16GB.

If throttle it does not compare to TMobile Prepaid which is 10gb for $40

TMO needs to up its game
