They had Buy One get One 20% off during the holiday season last year. I signed up for the $300 annual plans on our lines then. They used to occasionally even have Buy One get One 30% off, but it has been a long time since I've seen those.

Just an FYI, Target is running one of its rarer sales on PrePaid phone card this week. With the Target Red Card savings, it’s as good a deal as you can get. BTW, they also sell a $300 card now for the $300 yearly plan, but if you only have one plan, don’t use it, since you get 10% off your second card you purchase.

Wow! That Buy One get One 30% off, which works off to 15% off, would have been nice! I'd guess that was being offered before July, 2020, when I signed my wife up for the AT&T $300 plan using Target-purchased refill cards, because the most I've noticed since then is 10% off sales.
The 3 to 5 times a year $5 off $50 sale is the same 10% off as the holiday Buy One get One 20% off sale. Hopefully, 10% off continues to be available, in one form or another...
They seem to alternate the buy 1, get 10% off, buy 1, get 20% off, and $5 off of $50+ specials. Along with weeks with no special.
I just messed up. I thought I had enough in my account to pay this week, so I wasn't bothering until later next month. So either I was just $20 short, or some balance expired, but I was charged $23.69 yesterday. That could have been $18.55 if I had done this week's deal.
iPhone 12 Pro is my current phone I carry.
Looks like the Black Friday promo this year is going to be BOGO 10% off. Was hoping for more, but that is still a really good deal.
It looks like Target cycles through this one, the $5 off $50, and my favorite the buy 1, get 20% off. This last one is more flexible since you can target $40 plans or $60 plans. My current plan is $40/month. I will either buy tomorrow or wait until next Sunday and gamble there is a better deal. But it seems often that there is no special 2 weeks in a row.
Yeah, my annual renewal is coming up in mid-December. Been waiting for the BOGO 20% off, but I probably can't afford to risk waiting any longer. Probably should buy $5 off $50 throughout the year next year.

It was about time for the BOGO 20%, so I see this 15% offer for the first time. Joeflation, I guess.
Edit- Just found the answer to my first question but I had another one.
Any potential issues switching from Red Pocket GSMA to this plan
