It has been a few months. I recently found out that my address is supported now. So I was going to try this now.
Has this still been working great for people? I need to know about video streaming since I watch a lots of streaming videos.
Has anyone ran into any issues when you hit around 300GB to 700GB? I know they say there is no cap, but I seen some videos saying that they have ran into cap.
I got a private message from a Sara which they did not give that great of info. It was the same info that you can find online.
On the 10th, I decided to get one of these boxes from a Walmart store. So I have been using it for about a week and half.
I have been getting great speeds. I getting 80Mbps to 100Mbps most of the time since I have 5G Nationwide here. I think Verizon is working getting C-Band 5G UW in my area, but I am not sure yet.
I might run this for a little longer till I drop my old home internet because I only had one outage with it so far.
I like mine.
Visible (by Verizon) receive $20 off the first month. Please use referral code: 36csHv - https://www.visible.com/get/?36csHv
I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.
My plans:
Visible (Verizon) UTTD $25/mo
T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 12.25.23
FreedomPop (AT&T) Target $4.99 once 100 TTD a month each 29th
I'll never see speeds like that in my area even on NW5G. Verizon deems my area not worthy of capacity. And c-band will likely never make it here. The only reason I'd consider it if it ever comes to my area is for basically the data allotment for $45 even at the slower speeds my area gets.
Any reports or updates from people that live in a zip code where it's not available, and activated it using an allowed zip code?
Similar situation in my area. Just outside of town there is no Internet service other than from fixed wireless, and that is expensive and limited. Many can't use that kind of service (line of sight) because of the abundance of hills and trees. I checked for some friends, and neither Verizon of Straight Talk Home Internet are available. T-Mobile does not have much wireless service out there either, including for phones.
OK so Spectrum has just commented the unpardenable sin, they have pushed my internet and phone service over the $100.00 mark when they continue to offer NEW customers cheap deals for 1-2 yrs.
I'm not interested but calling and haggling about prices I figure I'll do them the same as they have done me SURPRISE !
So in looking for a replacement service I looked into Verizon and Straight Talk Home Internet so I settled on ST.
I'm really impressed with it so far ( only 24 hrs ) my speeds are hitting 100 mbps pretty consistent.
If it was not restricted my speed tests hit 200+ mbps at the start of the tests
BTW anyone know how to tell if you're getting 4G or 5G ?

app - Network Cell Info
You can log into the web interface. Then under System, there is System Status.
You can see the signal strengths from there.
More then likely since you are getting around 100/10Mbps, that is 5G signal.
Normally, 4G will get you around 50/5Mbps or less. It depends on your tower load with 4G tho.
Got into the router settings
