Is Page Plus still best or cheapest deal for holding onto a phone number? (i.e. $2.50/month)

Is Page Plus still the best option for someone wanting to hold onto a number?

Can anyone do better than $10 every 4 months/120 days?

Is there any reason to NOT go with PP right now?

There is rumors that PagePlus might not taking new activations.

It is one of the brands that Verizon might be cutting down from the Tracfone brands.

There is no official word yet about this tho.

Find someone that wants to get rid of a T-Mobile Legacy Gold Rewards SIM. $1 to $10 per year to keep it active.
