Service was already interrupted before the sept. 30 deadline.

Interesting. Does the G2 not support LTE?
I have a G8 with a TMO sim that I keep in the car as a backup device. I'll have to power it up to check for a message. As of a week ago, I did not receive any such offer.

GSM Arena shows that the T-Mobile version of the G2 has bands 2, 4, 7.

However, since that phone was released in 2013, it may not have the necessary VoLTE to operate on the current network without 3G to fall back on for voice.

The LG G2 might support LTE, but the biggest question is does it support VoLTE.

I know it is an older phone that might not support VoLTE.

The G2 probably does not support VoLTE, but neither does my G8 apparently.

More specifically, it does not support Verizon's implementation of VoLTE. I was told by TF that my G8 will not work with a VZ sim. They wanted me to switch to a new phone, but didn't have anything comparable at a good price.

Yea, I know lots of older phones are was built for that carrier only. LG was slowing going to universal phones before they stopped building phones.

So lots of the newer phones are fully universal unless a company does not want one.
