    Angry Texting BAL to 7243 not working for past 5 days!

    Anyone else having the same issue? I assume its not working for everyone.

    Texting BAL to 7243, seems to send ok, but no response.

    I called support and they didn't seem to care.... saying that this is common.

    Hard to say. I never use this method, but based on what I read for the rest of the TracFone-based universe, their online features are going through some growing pains (seemingly due to the Verizon Wireless takeover). This particular thing may clear up on a moment to moment basis or over a few days.

    Didn't work for me just now. Worked 8 days ago, but hadn't tried it since.

    has not worked all weekend AFAIK
    and call/data history on the web portal is also not working

    Well, looks like PP is going the way of the other TF companies which if I'm correct don't have a Call Records option.
    That's always been a PP feature I liked.
    They also said they'll escalate the text BAL issue.

    Theresa: Just kindly wait and check it from time to time.
    You: It's been over a week since it doesn't work
    Theresa: So sorry to hear that.
    Theresa: With that, I will escalate this matter to the higher department so we can look into this.

    Wow, the next step in the degradation of the TF companies! PPC loses its Call Records access!

    Additional: Just visited the site. First time since early June when I refilled. I feel lucky to be able to access it on this crappy tablet I bring to work with me. I did notice the problem with the Call Records function. Funny - they didn't ask my opinion about this aspect of my user experience at all the last time I responded to one of their surveys (which was when I last refilled). They are so clever that way! I guess I'll have to be more specific next time. Do this, don't do that, etc.

    It's sad to see what TF, and now Vzw has done to PPC. I used PPC for many years. I guess I still have my memories...

    My dad had said that he couldn't get his balance anymore but now he's telling me that his service isn't working at all and hasn't since August 1. Anyone else having problems with pageplus service? It's hard since I don't live near them to see if it's just user error.

    No issues here. Have you logged into his account online to check the balance instead of doing a BAL text ?

    Yes, on paygo, if the balance was low, spam texts could have used up the balance. Spam texts have used up $1.50 of my balance in the past four months.
