Question Seasonal cell service in Canada

I will be visiting the southern part of Ontario (Verona area) Canada for about 2 months from the USA. In the states I have Total wireless and a Samsung S8+. What would be my best route to get cell service on my S8+ while in Canada? I would like to keep in contact with family, use a map service and have data.

Thank you for your time and blessings.
