3G is now dead in the Louisville KY area as well, N5 still at 5x5 for now though.

A report on reddit that it is gone in Maine as well.

I bet it will coincide with a hard push for n77 panels and removal of the umts equipment.

[email protected] disappeared in Colorado around the same time. I've seen them doing tower climbs in rural areas right now. More [email protected] sites but only 5MHz online in rural areas, just a few weeks ago it was "5MHz N5 on a single cell site at a place near I-25". Areas that are not yet upgraded are now just dead on 850MHz. No 3/4/5G 850MHz and not broadcasting the 5G ENDC flag (as has been the case for a while.)

Interesting that UMTS is 10 MHz. Unless fieldtest is showing inaccurate info.

Charlotte - didnÂ’t think that they had both licenses here (nearest country is a couple hours away that does based on https://specmap.sequence-omega.net/) but even if they did would that still show 10mhz?

Field test could be wonky but it always shows this

Yeah Verizon owns both A and B in many parts of NC, I misread spectrum omega haha. I'm guessing info is not updating correctly, given that it's showing 0 for band info. That's strange.

If you’re seeing UMTS on AT&T in a market with no CLR licenses, it’s running on PCS. In my market, AT&T used 5 MHz of PCS B for n2, a 5 MHz chunk for UMTS, and 5 MHz belongs to T-Mobile. They’ve since shut down UMTS here but I haven’t seen 10x10 n2 yet.

AT&T’s UMTS is shut down nationwide as of yesterday morning.

Definitely Field Test Mode being inaccurate. UTMS technology can only use 10 MHz of downlink spectrum via DC-HSDPA+, which AT&T never deployed.

Has anyone in any of the markets that shut down recently seen n5 widened to 10x10 yet? Still 5x5 here after 2 weeks.

Nice. I lost n5 right after midnight last night and was betting they were gonna widen it during the maintenance window. Not the case though....still 5 in the D metro.
