I'm surprised they just didn't unlock it for you then and there since it is eligible.

611611 usually states that, but it actually automatically unlocks the day before, 60 days after activation. AAL vests day 61, tomorrow.

Yours will probably unlock today. Check for the carrier lock = no sim restrictions change in Settings/General/About/Carrier lock

You should also get a text alerting that phone is now unlocked.

Yeah, I expected more from the unlocking department. I did note that the website reflects the exact same 'ticket number' that I got yesterday -- so I feel like that basically the ticket has not been processed yet and hopefully its just a weekend backlog thing.

Mine automatically unlocked on Saturday = the weekend.

And I think they are open both days or all days.

TracFone.. where even the usually reliable unlocking department can be ymmv. Funny thing is AlexTrac pmed me to call, I did, and still no satisfaction. Dont know why they even bother paying someone to monitor this forum.

I checked this morning in settings and it was still locked. I’ll check again later, I’ve been waiting for it to unlock so I can use dual SIM before really trying it out as my daily driver.

With me and malet both behind schedule maybe its just a slowdown that started on Sunday.
Won't be the first time I get 'lucky' like this. At least I don't expect Tracfone to back away from easy 60 day unlocking, as that is one of the key requirements of the TracFone/VZW merger.

Now I am getting a little annoyed. Got the text at 10pm that my phone that should have unlocked yesterday is now unlocked. But it's not tested with FreeUp.

Gonna wait overnight and hope it works tomorrow but come on TracFone unlocking department don't become as incompetent as everyone else there....

I didn't get any notification, but my iPhone 12 Mini shows no SIM restrictions (in Settings) and my points vested. My notes (which may or may not be 100% accurate, I may have at some point added them by looking back instead of making them as things happened) show I added the phone to my account on December 1st and activated on December 2nd.

I plan to test in the next few days, just need to decide which plans to put where.

When you say "But it's not tested with FreeUp" are you saying you couldn't use a different SIM? Does Settings show the phone is unlocked or did you just get the text?

Literally, my phone just updated as I was about to call and complain to No Sim Restrictions. Yesterday, it still showed restrictions and the FreeUp sim did not work as expected. Now I'm sure it will. Not sure why it took so much time for my mini to unlock, but looks like I'll be able to add my DP soon.

I would like some feedback from everyone if you do not mind regarding my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, I purchased it in October 2021, here we are in February 2023. Every time I go to check I get the "your device is no eligible" BS. I would think by now it WOULD BE! Is there something occurring I am unaware of? Thank you in advance.

    According to unlock page:

If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior to November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than twelve (12) months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than twelve (12) months.
You can text unlock to 611611 and see what it states.

You can also call the Tracfone unlocking department at 888 442-5102 and see if they can unlock it for you.

Added: I recall in the past they required that you paid for one year worth of the plans for the phone with transferred in service not counting.

Also, you need to activate the phone with the original SIM that came with the phone. Swapping in a SIM does not start the unlock clock on a TF phone. This is for Android; I'm not sure if it's different for iPhone.

There is definitely a pairing of IMEI to SIM ICCID for iPhones to be unlocked, as well.
