Unfortunately, for me, that $1 becomes $2.71 after taxes/fess.

    But I guess since I don't need the dollars ($245.xx account balance), $2.71 is better than $11 ($10 + $1 Callingmart fee).

    Well this is weird.

I was just going over my credit card statement/bill and the charge from T-Mobile is just $1.

They didn't apparently actually charge me the 12˘ for some reason.

When I received the email alert when I ordered the $1 top up and 12˘ taxes and fees the email stated that I was charged $1.12 from T-Mobile.

But my itemized credit card bill just has $1.

All of the other transactions are correct down to the penny.

Nothing Earth shattering, just thought that it was a bit strange.

I discovered today that my GR account was suspended with a zero balance because I forgot to renew it in March. A call to *611 CSR got my balance of $147 restored as long as I was willing to add $10.

It’s annoying that when you call to get balance of minutes and expiration date on automated 611, it’s no longer given. I’ve had to endure the long wait to get the cs person.

@cobo - Wow, a two month grace period! I'd consider myself lucky I suppose.

@kingc - I've always visited the website for balance info. But now they only show a dollar amount and you assume the rest at $0.10 per minute.

A few days ago when I checked my T-mobile page, my expiration date was 6/6/22 but when I checked yesterday it's magically changed to 9/3/22 without any refill (some kind of error in T mobile system?)

I just refilled with $10 ($10.30 from Bestbuy.com) to get it extended to 1 year.

Dial #225# to get the information.
This gives you the expiration date and balance.

Also #999# will give you your balance.

I love that 15+ years after I had T-Mobile To Go, the shortcodes still work even on postpaid - I've set up some friends with Connect lines and they thought it was weird to do that versus an app for checking usage, but then appreciated how quickly it worked. I created a contact for #WEB# and #BAL# and added them to the Favorites list on my phone's dialer - here's some more for everyone out there:

You can extend with $1 online. Extends for a year.

I was able to renew my Gold Rewards account today, August 7, 2022. Some elements were baffling but then it worked out. I used a computer, not an app on the phone.

The previous "Balance Expiration" was August 11, so I had a few days to spare. The screen confirmed "Gold Rewards Active." I added $10 by credit card, which became $11.20 with added fees. So far, so good right? The Activity Log elaborately confirms the payment steps. Great! But then my $10 remained in limbo. It did not add to Account Balance. The Balance Expiration did not move into the future. Viewing various pages within the web session did not cause the expiration to update. When I totally logged out and logged back in, then the balance increased $10 and the expiration became 08/07/2023. So nothing was hard, but the key info did not update until the logout followed by new login. A new year of Gold Rewards bliss!

The Gold Rewards phone stays charged and is used, but mainly for data activities over WiFi.

Did you happen the $1 option online? Hoping it's still there and extends the expiration by a year when we have to renew in a few months.

I just renewed one of my GR accounts with $1 + $1.xx tax/fees and it pushed the expiration date out another year.
