    Issue ordering a second iPhone 13 from Apple - order limitations?

    Got my iPhone 13 this week and all is good.

    I'm trying to order a second one for my brother but the Apple Store tells me I've exceeded their limit!

    I am ordering using the Veteran's discount. I can't see anything in the limitations that say I can only order one phone on the Veteran's discount It does say "**Discount on iPhone applies to SIM-free phones only. Carrier phones are not eligible for the discounted price." Which is strange since I ordered the Verizon model on my own phone. Doesn't really matter either way since all phones from Apple Store are unlocked. So I changed it to the unlocked version but get the same message.

    Any one have any idea? Has Apple started limiting how many can be ordered? Just curious. I prefer to order through my account but if necessary, he can get set up for the Veteran's discount (through ID.me) and I can share my Apple Card with him.

    Apple is totally sold out of inventory on many of the models and has way more orders than they can process. It is logical that they are placing limits. Have your brother try to purchase it themselves. My guess is there are limits being placed until the huge backlog is cleared. Unclear if it is being done on a per account basis as the only way to know is to try. Contact Apple specialist directly via their Apple store app or the website as they would know more info than us.

    OK. My brother went ahead and created his ID.me account to get the Veteran's discount. I shared my Apple Card with him and he was able to order the iPhone 13 (blue) with no problem. He was even able to order the Verizon model. All is good. Says shipping is 7-10 days and delivery Oct 14-18. (Same as it said before it rejected my order.)
