    New mobile hotspot plans

Essential: $20 a month for Verizon customers
15GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
720p HD streaming when on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Plus: $40 a month for Verizon customers
    5G Ultra Wideband access
50GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Pro: $60 for Verizon customers with a smartphone on an eligible Unlimited plan or $90 as a standalone plan
    5G Ultra Wideband access
100GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data
4K UHD streaming on 5G Ultra Wideband and 720p HD streaming on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE

Premium: $80 for Verizon customers with a smartphone on an eligible Unlimited plan or $110 as a standalone plan
    5G Ultra Wideband access
150GB of premium mobile hotspot data, then unlimited lower-speed data

Only after exceeding allowance, unlimited 3Mbps speed when on 5G Ultra Wideband for Plus, Pro and Premium plans for the rest of the month; and unlimited 600 Kbps speed when on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE for the rest of the month.

Worth it only for the next several months or if you’re in an area that won’t be covered by C-Band anytime soon, since Verizon’s premium unlimited smartphone plans come with truly unlimited 5G UW hotspot.

That would be vast majority of people who won't be covered. Also most people aren't going to want to run the phone as hotspot 24/7. Someone who only choice now is satellite and won't be able to get Starlink this is probably the best option. Also the $40 plan with 50 GB is only $20 on Do More and Get More. That's not too bad.

I would caution that this may be sign of limits coming to UWB once c-band rolls out. After all if you can get a c-band signal but not mmwave how can Verizon offer truly unlimited data on hotspot without congestion being an issue?

So has the extra $20 per month extra fee for using a verizon jetpack been removed ?
I’m currently paying $99.44 per month for 1 iPhone and 1 jetpack on unlimited 4G including Canada

The prices listed are the price. The 15 GB plan is still $20. Also the are several unlimited plans so you're going to have to be more precise. There isn't a plan called unlimited 4G

Of course for people who really REALLY need lots of full speed LTE data, there’s hacking a mobile hotspot to make it report its data traffic as smartphone on-device usage.

So it costs more than what T-Mobile/Sprint and ATT offer (prepaid) as a standalone. No thanks.

15, 50, 100, 150 GB is not tons of data. It is barely a trickle. Terabytes a month is more like a tons. Those prices are not much better than what Tracfone sells data for. The $20 for 15 GB is actually worse than Tracfone's rates.

This is why I’m glad I still have my Verizon $65 unlimited hotspot plan and 2 unlimited sprint hotspot plans

Haha yeah, My legacy $20 a month AT&T unlimited is real nice. Used it tonight after a small tornado power outage - loaned it to a friend.

Which do you have? I have 4 Mobley plans and 5 $34.99 iPad plans. Not sure what I really need. Same goes for my ‘limited’ tmobile and sprint plans.

It's a Connected Car Unlimited Mobley plan. I was very lucky to get it during the brief period it was available. I hate paying ~$24 a month with taxes for it to hardly use it, but days like today make it worth it. I also took it on a road trip yesterday.
