That’s a pretty crappy benefit when you can use EBB on the Unlimited plan at AT&T Prepaid and get better service.

If you sign up for the EBB do it through Safelink. You get unlimited talk, text, data and 10gb hotspot.

My daughter gets Lifeline through Assurance Wireless. I applied her EBB benefit to our Internet bill to get $50 off each month while it lasts. Also got a refurbished desktop computer (2014 model but still fast enough) and an LCD monitor, all for $20.

Yeah that’s a pretty crazy deal. Usually the low income computer programs start at like $150-$200 for a complete computer from like pcsforpeople or connectall.

I've done some searching since I asked the question and pcsforpeople is where this is offered for $20, but it says in order to get that deal you have to have internet service with them or sign up for it at the time of purchase.

However they do have what sounds like good PC's for a very good deal without having to have or sign up for their internet.

Ah, so that’s where it comes from! Still a pretty decent deal considering the internet they offer is like $15 a month for an unlimited hotspot plan on T-Mobile (well technically Sprint with T-Mobile roaming).

Definitely leaves me out then cause T-Mobile signal isn't much at my house.

That’s something else entirely. Never even heard of it before.
