5g on unlocked iphone 12

hi all. i’ve tried for 2 days and nothing i do can get me 5g on my iphone 12 i bought from Apple. i’m on Cricket More

I did a chat with Cricket customer support and they told me that my factory unlocked purchased directly from Apple iPhone 12 would not be able to get 5g on their network. Said the phone has to be purchased from Cricket to be able to get 5g service.

So, you purchased your phone directly from Apple like I did, and now you are getting 5g on Cricket? Guess the customer service rep informed me incorrectly!

Are you getting real 5G speeds or is this the "fake 5G" that AT&T has been showing for a couple years on its phones? If real, what speed are you getting?

According to this screenshot, you can now bring your own iPhone and have access to 5g.
