RedPocket incoming text errors; not coming through

On occasion my texts do not come through, it says "Message expired or not available" as shown below. I was with Boom! Mobile for several years and don't recall this ever happening. I've been with RedPocket for 2 months and have had it happen about a dozen times. I wanted to purchase a yearly plan with them, but am a bit leery about committing to them for a year with having these issues. It's happened with about six people texting me, so it's not just coming from one person. I'm on the Verizon network with RedPocket, has anyone else experienced this?

I'm with RP verizon. This has also happened to me. It was due to wrong APN info.

What works for me (in USA) is:
APN = VZWINTERNET
MCC = 311
MNC = 480
APN type = default,dun,supl
APN roaming protocol = IPv4/IPv6
APN enable/disable = enable
Bearer = LTE
All other options = disabled or none

I also have had trouble with Verizon MMS. I use Textra and it will try to use WiFi to get pic attachments but sometimes fails, so you must have Cell Data enabled to work reliably.

Also if you use Textra there is a setting to fix sending/receiving MMS.

I have a google voice number, and that is the only phone number that I ever give out. So all incoming texts go to GV, and that has been pretty much flawless.

When I am doing 2 factor authentication (bank, etc), I have to use the actual cell phone number as they won't accept GV number. But the few times I have needed it, it has worked. (Red Pocket CDMA/Verizon)
