Taken at Rochester Road just north of E Big Beaver in Troy, MI. The first 5G node I've seen outside of downtown Detroit.

Agreed. Seems like they're either trying to cheap out on the backhaul by using 1 Gbps circuits and therefore do not need more radio capacity, or they are aiming to keep all "5G+" speeds within the same range. In other words, it's all "5G+" and they don't want customers to notice a significant difference between 5G+ using n77 versus 5G+ using mmWave. Whereas, Verizon seems to have no problem dumping as much speed and capacity into the air as the technology and spectrum licenses will allow, even if seeing "5G UW" means speeds ranging anywhere from 200-300 Mbps through 4 Gbps.
I really don't get why they hate mmwave so much. Granted they don't need it for home internet like verizon does and 99% of consumers wont notice, but why are they cheaping out on existing deployments. even here they're running full 800mhz and max Ive seen is 1.3gbps. vs the verizon deployments at 4gbps. Also feel like the range is significantly less than verizons
Im getting C-band n77 from a site 9 miles from me it's line of site I'm really curious what output they are using to get 3700mhz out that far it's awesomespeed averages about 200 down and about 6mb up given the distance n77 signal is -104 dbm
A few tests taken at the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron, MI. One is on Telus.

Since this is a speed test thread, I'll post here - but has anyone with an iPhone 14 seen DoD? This hasn't been confirmed but I have yet to see any iPhone 14 pull a DoD signal, so I'm starting to think this is not enabled yet (and will require a software/carrier update to do so). Only sightings so far have been on Android devices.
One article mentioned that DoD spectrum was not yet cleared from the satellite providers

If You're With AT&T Wireless as your Cell Provider, Use the "AT&T Mark The Spot App" to report an issues with your service, like, no connection, slow speeds, no coverage, drop calls...etc

Think you/the article might be confusing the remaining n77/3.7ghz spectrum that will be cleared in december vs DoD which is 3.45ghz and to my knowledge has nothing to do with satellite providers (and instead, the DoD). There are a handful of areas att has to coordinate with DoD, but for the most part its cleared nationwide
“AT&T has about 200 mmWave nodes in and around the stadium, fortified with its C-band spectrum and FirstNet’s LTE Band 14. AT&T won 3.45 GHz licenses in last year’s auction, but that isn’t cleared yet.”

This article refers to the Phoenix area, which is in a category 1 coordination area and may or may not be cleared. It is cleared in most of the country and the last service mode pic I posted is an n77/DoD carrier. This is the map depicting category 1 licenses courtesy of Sasha Javid:
