Tracfone Rewards Program

It seems like they are slowly killing rewards off. I thought when they dropped AAL to 500 in January that was just temporary but it seems like that was first sign that they intend to kill this thing. Why don't they just get it over with?

I got the FB social to work in the iOS app. Don’t know how long that will last. I was hoping to get to 20k by next Black Friday (I have about 18,300). There’s nothing currently in the store that interests me enough to redeem for $200. Maybe BF 2025 now?

I've never had those kinds of points, but a couple of years ago, I would get 1000 points every so often and buy a gig of data. This last year, I've been having a hard time making 500 points, enough for $5 in texts every so often. This last couple of months, I've been stuck making close to nothing. Like @54321ZERO says, they should just just rip it off, like a band-aid! Because, it is obvious they don't want to offer it any longer.

Yes, redeem what RPs you have collected, before they get further devalued.

Was nice while it lasted, but now the party's over.

My account has 20+ referrals so the code changes with each referral. I made referrals in June (vested) and August and got 7K points each time. However, I only got 5K points for a referral this week. I wonder if the counter has been reset or TF is rewarding 5K points from now on regardless of tiers (1: 5K, 2-4: 6K, 5+: 7K). Will find out when I have another referral. (not complaining. I am happy I can still get referral points for this account.) Anyone got 7K referral points recently?

Same for me. I also have 20+ referrals. My last two referrals only earned 5K. I suspect referrals now only get 5K regardless of the number of past referrals. I'm also curious to know if anyone is still getting 7K.

I've kept pushing about the rewards points not being given for landing on 4500 on spin-the-wheel in the beginning of the month; I even got someone at HQ to tell me I was getting the 9000 I deserved. But since it hadn't happened a week after she told me this, I called today to check on it and got a runaround and eventually disconnected (I didn't say anything to provoke this...I was sitting there on hold when it happened). So I've had enough and contacted the FCC and BBB. I don't know if this will work but I can say for certain if I don't get the points I'll be done with Tracfone when my current plan runs out in January.

You might as well start planning on moving your phone service to another company. The chance of you actually getting those 9000 points is about zero.

Oh, yeah, I'm aware of this...although there is a rep at TFHQ named "Mary" who straight up told me I'd get them. Even told me they didn't need to see a screenshot of what happened. I'm not expending a lot of energy on it. But the thing that is so aggravating is I'll probably have over 10,000 points in a day or two after getting the 100 for social media, then I'll have 4 full months left to get to 12,500 and won't get close...unless I succeed in getting these points for their spin-the-wheel screwup. Also the first time I posted about this some lurker from TF DM'd me about how sorry he was that I didn't get the points and he'd help me...he gave me contact info I already had, I DM'd him back, and of course I never heard from him again.

Yeah, I posted about the 4500 points and got Alex's message also. I just disregarded it since I know it is a bot

I am able to still get points for sharing on Facebook and Twitter. The usual message saying that I received 50 points, however, did not show. Using my computer, it did however, open new browser windows for Facebook and Twitter as it normally does. And when I check my activity, it shows 50 points for each:

I did try it from the iOS app on a different account after reading your post. I pressed both the twitter and FB icons and nothing happened so I thought it didn't work. But when I looked at my activity, it had actually given me 50 points x 2 for pressing both icons in the app.
