Just press it and then press continue.

Then choose "no" if it asks for Credit card info, and then select Reward Points under "Select One" as your payment and continue.

There may be an easier way or different way to do this, but this way works for me. If I don't do this I don't see the points either.
It's just not working for me I guess. Under payment methods I only see my credit card. I am on the android app though.

Yeah I'm seeing the same thing as you on my Android LG Rebel 4 which I don't normally use.

If I press Rewards on it it shows me the same as shown on the TF website under Redeem Points with nothing available (coming soon) to get yet. On iPhone if you go there it shows them as available in addition to it working as I described.

Haha mystery solved. Android app needs another update, not to mention their actual website.

As mentioned previously, my account app worked for me just as tomsys reported. App updates needed apparently. Glad you were able to make it work, Yuhfhrh.

Well, I don't have any iPhones so I'll just be twiddling my thumbs until TracFone updates the Android app and/or website.

Thanks for the heads up, it does show up on the iOS iPhone app for me as well. As usual.. TracFone is always broken so I'm not surprised. Hopefully they'll get it working via all channels soon.

Note: this iPhone is on T-Mobile postpaid (hence the "5G"), it's still locked to T-Mobile for the time being. I didn't buy it outright from Apple this time since there was a good promo. I'll try it with a TF SIM once I get it unlocked.
Castrol EDGE 0W-20 is my drug of choice.

    Primary: iPhone 14 Pro Max (T-Mobile & Verizon); Pixel 6a (AT&T)
    Mobile Broadband: Franklin T10 LTE hotspot (5GB for $8.50) / iPad mini 6 5G (unlimited 5G data)

That 1000 points, was it for 500 minutes or a GB of data?
Originally, they were showing a GB at 1000 points, then later I saw something suggesting it might be 500 points.
You can try sillyette's Tracfone rewards referral code RRJA-C67E at rewards.tracfone.com or in the Tracfone App. It's a bottom tier referral though.

Sign up for the TracFone rewards program here: https://www.tracfone.com/rewards

The gig at 500 points looks to be something that would eventually come from the "redeem" tab whenever they set that up. Normally purchasing shows 1000 points for the 1GB add on.

This question was never really answered in other threads, but is there a sign-up link to a page with a box to enter a referral code? The referral page I see does not have one.

I always recommended signing up via web browser at https://rewards.tracfone.com

If you don't see a referral box on the rewards homepage, hit the dashboard pulldown and look there.

I tried the dashboard pulldown, and the pulldown shows like your picture (the rest of the page is different), <except> for the bottom referral part. I got a response from TracFone Alex where he said something about within 14 days of "activation". Oh well, I may have goofed something up when clicking around, in the past. I've had it with this promotion. Thanks for your help.

I'd make new pictures if I hadn't already use the referral.
That's what the rewards site looked like two months ago when I joined.

Question for those who can buy with rewards points in the iOS app:

Can you buy 365 days for 5000 points?

I don't see that add-on offered under any of the menus.

On the web site it comes up during checkout, not as an airtime page add-on.
5000 points for just the days would be better than 12,500 points for the days with very little airtime included.
