    Wifi Calling Quality

I have a weak wireless signal at home that I hoped Wifi Calling would solve on my Pixel 3a. I don't really talk on my phone much so it's hard to generalize, but the couple of calls I've been on in the last few days have been really bad with a lot of breakups in the sound. I'm not sure if this was just on my end and if the person on the other end was also getting it, but how is this working for most of you? Any particular reason for these problems? My Wifi connection is strong and certainly more than fast enough.

With the Wifi Calling on, call 611 and play with the menu options. If you still hear lots of breakups in the sound, the issue is most likely on your end.

Are you sure you are doing Wifi calling, not just regular calling with a poor cell signal?

To be sure, you can put the phone in Airplane mode, then turn Wifi back on.

Wifi calling has always worked well for me, but I'm not using AT&T Prepaid.

Yes. The display indicates this when you make or receive a call.

I have the same phone (Pixel 3a) on AT&T prepaid. Never a problem. HD Voice sounds just as good on WiFi as it is on VOLTE.

As someone else already suggested, call some service with automated prompts (i.e. your bank) while on WiFi and just mess around with options and check sound quality.
