How to get upgrade offer for Simple Choice customers?

    Right now I pay $100 + taxes:
    • 2 Lines for $100 deal from 2016. Unlimited. Unthrottled. 14GB Hotspot.
    • Free Line on Us from 2016(or 17?)

So based off this, I have 3 lines.

I am currently using an iPhone SE 1st Gen on one of the lines
Would it be possible to upgrade to iPhone 12 Pro and get some type of a discount, while retaining my plan? I use a crap ton of data, and definitely want to keep the plan.

Get the phone through Samsung. Either buy it out or finance it then just swap phones...

For the best option to retain your plan and upgrade, purchasing outright through Apple is what I suggest. Apple offers financing of its phones directly.

T-Mobile's promo requires a new line of service which may cause plan changes and issues.

You can trade in your phone through Apple or sell on a third party site and use that to 'discount' the cost of the new device.

Same thing basically... depends if you want an iPhone or any other phone... eitherway buying it from another source gets you what you want.

T-Mobile's offer doesn't require an added line. It's option to get a bigger discount but not mandatory.

Trading in an iPhone 1st Gen would get $215 discount with an existing line, plus you can get an extra $200 rebate if you have been a customer for more than five years.

Okay. I guess I didn't see the trade-in only offers.

Someone pointed out, that they're excluding Select Choice plans from the offer (which was a cheaper version of Simple Choice) but they do not mention Simple Choice as being excluded:

"Pre-order or purchase a new Apple iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro on an Equipment Installment Plan / Installment Billing for use on a qualifying voice rate plan (excludes our Select Choice and Value Essentials rate plans)."
