    Band 46

Haven't seen any reports about USC and band 46.. The tower near my house is getting upgraded with 5G equipment. I stopped by and chatted with the crew and he mentioned they were installing band 46 on this particular site...This site is right in the middle of town of about 5500.

Band 46 on a macro site? I guess its possible, but I'm thinking maybe he meant band 48, 3.5 ghz? VZW has it running on macros and the are getting over a mile out of it. (B48)

Here is a pic of the upgraded site. I have circled the small antenna I think is band 46 or 48?

I could be wrong, but I wonder if that's mmWave.

They've been testing it on macro sites.

I confirmed yesterday this is 20 MHz of LAA band 46. It was showing up in the NSG app and was active.

The speeds are low tho. There is 4 carriers aggregation but speeds are under 15 download. Wondering if they don't have the backhaul turned up yet?
