Redpocket annual plan renewal, how does it work?

I've had my wife on the Redpocket annual plan (verizon) with 5GB that came out to $17/month when I bought it last December. Can anyone on their second year explain how the renewal process goes? Do you just buy another year on eBay? I will probably wait til around black friday so I can get the discount again if that's the case.

Their E-Bay store added a dropdown so you can let them know you are renewing an existing plan and don't need a SIM

Awesome I see that option now to renew without a sim. Can I purchase it well ahead of the renewal time if it goes on sale? I've seen it on sale for the holiday price once or twice this summer so far.

You have 90 days from the day you order to activate it not the day you get it. Red Pocket has a FAQ that can answer some of your questions. If you change plans it will take place immediately. If you keep the same plan chat said that the change would take place at that time and to wait the 90 days not to lose days. I did but still had a month to go and they just extended my time out by 360 days so I didn't lose any days.

You can order it (at least when I last ordered) with the SIM. Then not use the new SIM, save it for later. And just renew with the PIN.

I had a line that LOOKED like it had added the year to the end of the existing plan, when I added it a month early, but then when the time came.....they ended it a month early! As it usually takes me an hour to accomplish anything with them, I figured I would let it slide for the $5. ($60 annual backup phone). I let the line expire.

Renewing or not, I would still buy the option that includes the sim card. You may have a need for it in the future. Since it's all the same price why not get it....
