    Scam Shield app

I downloaded the Scam Shield app.

It gives you a free trial of Scam Shield Plus. I looked up my account online and it looks like it is automatically canceling after the trial is over so I don't have to worry about that.

The caller ID wasn't on by default. You have to scroll down in the settings to turn it on.

In that screen it told me that the outgoing Caller ID could be edited online. So I logged in and changed that field to what I wanted on all of my lines.

Jet is it much different than Name ID Premium?

I’m using iOS and I don’t see Scam Shield available through the App Store.

I've never used Name ID Premium, but I heard that it works the same way.

Yeah it looks like they just renamed/re-baged Name ID to Scam Shield. My app on my iPhone just updated.

I thought TM (and maybe other carriers) was already blocking spam calls. Mine have diminished. In fact, wasn't there a USSD code to activate/deactivate that feature over a year ago?

    They have been already.

So far 21 potential spam/scam calls have been blocked from my main line over the last 30 days.

The Scam Shield app gives you this and other details.
