Any ideas how to reset sim pin. Any ideas for codes to try? I have tried 0000 and 1234. I got this phone from a relative.

Try contacting Motorola customer support to verify if there is a default SIM PIN. Are you certain that your relative did or didn't set a different PIN ?

Just to make sure, is this for the SIM or the security pin for phone itself. Keep in mind that if you enter the PIN incorrectly too many times it may lock the phone. Best of luck.
    Just another day in paradise.....

Thanks for clarifying. The suggestion to contact Motorola still stands.

Were you planning on activating this phone? It is a GSM 2G model that may only run on T-Mobile now, and that may stop end of this year.
