    Blu phones

I was just wondering if anyone has bought a Blu phone in last couple of years. I see them now on straight talk and Tracfone. I remember when they would burn out like a candy bar phone I used. Has the quality gotten better. I don't know if I recommend them to potential customers.

I always wondered the same. I guess the lack of replies may show few people that come in forums are using them. But all the forums seem dead this weekend. Everyone getting outside for a change.

I was looking up Wiko phones and cases and saw BLU associated with a Wiko model on a case listing. Also Wiko associated with an AT&T phone model U304AA called a Radiant Core. The model # is similar to a Wiko model U304a, U307as for the Wiko Ride 2 or Wiko Life 2.

The same case that fits the Radiant fits the BLU Wiko Ride. Which may mean the phones are manufactured by the same company. I looked up Wiko and it's French, but owned by a Chinese company called Tinno.

The reviews I see on Wiko Ride aren't too envigorating, but lower priced phones often are so so. They might do in a pinch but couldnít think they'd be worth it if you can afford a better phone costing $20 to $50 more. The phones I buy are usually about $40 to $50, my most expensive $80. LG, primarily. Motorola.

There's an unlocked BLU V5 at Best Buy for 79.99. 64gb BLU unlocked for 99.99. Activate now prices are much cheaper.

Google searched V5 reviews, 3.8 stars

I think I'd rather have a brand I know better like the Moto e6 or g7 Play. I haven't had a G7 yet but do have and like the e6.

I'd try a Blu if the reviews don't look too bad. I may try an unlocked one eventually.

Due to Tmo changing towers on my and my having no phone service (Iím essential staff at hospitals, people MUST be able to contact me). I bought the V5 $80 deal at Best Buy to have peace of mind of a backup phone. (I have my mint number conditionally forwarded to it.)

Iím not really an android user, so I canít compare that way, but as a backup phone to my iPhone, itís been perfect. I had a motoE that I tried years ago during the RingPlus days and hated it, so I was worried about this purchase, but Iíve enjoyed it so far.
