Tried to call my brother in Illinois and another T-Mobile line and it didn't go through. Both numbers are in Illinois. My phone number is in Oakland County Michigan.

    T-Mobile to T-Mobile.

I called my Tracfone running Verizon from my T-Mobile phone and the call went through.

I called a business from my T-Mobile line and it went through.

I tried to call my T-Mobile phone from my Tracfone running Verizon and the call wouldn't go through.

Didn't even make the ringing out sound, just dropped the call at 30 seconds.

OK, folks. I am going to say this once and only once. Enough of the "fanboy" comments. Keep this thread on topic or it will be closed, offending posts will be deleted and posting vacations will be applied to the offenders. This is NOT a threat, it is a promise.

Well T-Mobile and us users all admit there is an outage with T-Mobile, so your point is?

Isn't 12+ hours a long time for this not to be fixed?

I'm still intermittently getting a No Signal indication on my Note 10+.

I'm also getting a new non-visual voicemail notification every 10-15 minues or so from Call Settings even though I deleted the voicemail I got earlier today. Never had that happen before... so aggrevating!

Seems like about 8 hours down here.

Still just plain old not working here in Chicago. Sprint and Verizon seem to have been fine all day at least where I am.

Issues in NC as well. Unable to make or receive calls, and 5G NR is nearly useless but LTE Data is working fine.

    Update from Atlanta:

I can dial my landline from my T-mobile cell phone. However, I still can't receive calls to my cell phone. I was able to get a response from a text I sent hours earlier. So, it appears to still be ongoing.

Last night I played around with various settings:
    1. Set WiFi Calling to WiFi Preferred
    2. Forwarded all calls to a non-T-Mobile number.
    3. Switched to 2G/3G mode

Can't say if any of it made a big difference. I could call non-T-Mobile numbers but could not receive calls, even when all calls were forwarded to another number. Texts were very unreliable and delayed for an hour or more. Strange.

CEO says it was IP traffic related. This is the second time in my 22 years with tmobile that we had an outage that lasted more than 12 hours.
First i remember was in 2000 when voicestream and a dozen regional providers were incorporated into t-mobile.
Second was yesterday, im pretty sure was Sprint related.

Everything back to normal this morning.

I had no issues calling AT&T -> AT&T yesterday, but I did have a person with MetroPCS come into my store asking for me to fix her phone because she couldn’t make or receive calls.

FCC Chairman launching investigation into ‘unacceptable’ T-Mobile network outage

It seems they have some explaining to do. Also they don't seem to have been very transparent yet.

I think customers and the FCC are due a better explanation than what they've received.

Everything working normally as of late afternoon yesterday.

I too forced my iPhone to 3G yesterday which seemed to help.

My brother forced his Sammy S10+ to 2G yesterday and he wad able to message and make calls.

Glad we all survived Call-mageddon 2020! What a year! What else could go wrong?
