Sprint native LTE on band 71 now!

I'm currently on a trip in California on highway 395. Small town of Big Pine. Previously there was only roaming here on slow data. Now I have band 71 and it's working totally great! Thank you T-Mobile Name: 20200612_171755.jpg

Yes, B71 finally got released for mobile use in large parts of NorCal recently. It shows in the vastly increased 5G coverage map. My assumption was that where you see 5G n41 there will also be LTE B41. This could be a real game changer in those areas that previously had poor coverage with T-Mobile. There is still the problem with a lot of phones not having B71.

Looks like T-Mobile is running a dual-network ID on band-71.

Amazing! I can’t wait to see that here. Wow all the sweat and worry about integration problems and here is T-Mobile just flipping switches here and there and the integration happens.

I just looked at the coverage map for Big Pine, CA. It is a 3G only area. Maybe that’s why T-Mobile coverage is filling in.

Yes it is amazing to get new spectrum online so quickly. They must have been making the hardware changes for a while to be able to turn it on so quickly.
